Robert Cordova focuses his legal practice in the field of Workers’ Compensation and has experience with all phases of Workers’ Compensation litigation. Mr. Cordova is certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in workers’ compensation law. He is a dedicated advocate for workers’ rights and is committed to guiding injured and disabled workers through the California Workers’ Compensation system. Mr. Cordova’s years of legal experience have made him well-versed in all stages of assisting injured workers with their claims. He is fluent in Spanish and comprehends the needs, concerns, and struggles of those in the Spanish Speaking community when navigating through the complex Workers’ Compensation system. 

Further, Mr. Cordova has years of experience successfully representing union members in the Workers’ Compensation system. He has represented employees across a wide spectrum of labor unions and trades, such as laborers, construction workers, the entertainment industry, hotel employees, restaurant workers, clerical professionals, and California State, County, and municipal employees. 

He has taught various Workers’ Compensation topics at a local Los Angeles Community College. He continues to advocate and present on multiple subjects pertaining to worker’s rights. Mr. Cordova conducts webinars and in-person presentations for multiple Southern California worker’s rights organizations and their members.

Mr. Cordova is a member of California’s foremost injured worker advocacy organization, the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA). He is a member of CAAA’s regional chapter, the Southern California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (SCAAA), and Latino Comp. He is also a member of the Latino Caucus branch of CAAA, Mexican American Bar Association (MABA), and the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA).

Mr. Cordova obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Law from California State University, Northridge. He then obtained his Jurist Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles. While in law school, Mr. Cordova received the Witkin Award for Ethical Lawyering. He also clerked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office and participated in several high-profile cases.

Mr. Cordova also has experience in employment litigation matters and personal injury cases.
